Tip 22 — Use the high bounce to pin opponents

A high, floating ball looks like a chance to smash it hard down the middle. Resist that. Take it early, on the rise, and drive it down into their back corner instead.

That steep angle eats their time. They have to scramble behind their own baseline just to get a paddle on it, there is no easy return from back there.

While they recover, step in and claim the space they just gave up. Their next ball comes back short and weak. That one is yours to finish.
